Here is a link to my first blog post from way back in 2007. When I started out blogging on the Revenue Robot blog I planned on talking about products, niche ideas, and random topics but, I never thought it would turn into a gaming / creative topic blog. That was until I did my first gaming blog post where SEO took over… and after that it’s all history.

Nowadays my readers can find the Revenue Robot blog on many known gaming forums, ranked high above known gaming companies in keyword searches and linked up with some major marketing company for games / gaming sites. Ahhhh I finally implemented the redesign of my blog (the one you’re reading) it has taken a few months of procrastination but I happy to say its finally done…! The above image shows the stats as 999,999 just one person away from the Million person mark… However since that screen shot was taken i’ve passed the milestone of a million people on the site. My blog (the one you’re reading) is undergoing a redesign which will allows me to re-brand my site to make an icon / avatar that is suitable for the name of the blog “revenue robot“. Above is a screen shot of what I plan on replacing this current site with… granted it needs some more tweaks here and there. The site should be replaced with the new template within a few more weeks (hopefully sooner). My new site will include a free downloadable eBook which shows you steps to take to start your own blog. I am also contemplating on rotating the backgrounds out each time the page loads kind of like the MTV website has theirs. If you’ve visited my site before you may notice a major change in things. Such as the blog layout and my RevenueRobot icon. Below is an image of what I had before and what I have now.

Compare icons

I’ve gone threw several different logo designs as well as icon designs before I just stuck with just one. In addition to the icons and logo I couldn’t decide on a color combo either. So I went with my favorite color “olive green” and lighter shades of green with a hint of gray.

So please let me know if you come across and bugs because this blog is a work in progress! As a note I am still leaving my old icon on my old site whereas it would be more of a pain to create something for that site. I’m keeping that content up till January of next year because, I still get traffic to the site and just wanted to keep it up a whole year before I took it down.
