The latest DLC for Mass Effect 2 is described by IGN as the following… “The Lair of the Shadow Broker begins like any other mission in Mass Effect 2: an email in your inbox. Somehow the Illusive Man has tracked down intel on the location of the Shadow Broker, the galaxy’s most mysterious and powerful information dealer. The new NBA LIVE 10 has a demo over on the Xbox Live Marketplace. This is a great time to try before you buy… visit the Marketplace to Que up the game for Download. Here is a little snippet of what is to come;

NBA LIVE 10 includes major improvements to player movement, gameplay, controls, and an all new broadcast presentation package. All new features include Dynamic Season, updated Dynamic DNA, adidas LIVE Run, and Playoffs Mode.

The game will be released on October 6, 2009. So if you haven’t pre-ordered a copy yet I suggest you do so before all your friends have it and you don’t!

A friend recently sent me this article from Crispygamer.com that has a bunch of games and gaming products that are scheduled to be released the same week as Madden NFL 10.

From what I gathered from the Crispy Gamer post about Madden NFL 10 is that it’s amazing how gaming and movies are so similar when in comes to release dates. For instance if there is a big named movie that is about to be released and a known but not so known movie is released around the same time it some times gets seen the next weekend if at all.

However, when it comes to a game release if a person has been saving up for the game they really want they usually disregard any other ones that are being released around the same time and sometimes wait for a used one or they borrow it from a friend. Prime example is myself..

So to sum up my whole story… if I were a gaming company I’d consider checking out the release date on games (well atleast big hit ones) and i’d possibly push it back about a month or two so the hype of the big name game dies down.
