As I mentioned before way back in June 2009 there was a list of Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Icons that were thought by some to be the correct ones… Well they were wrong. The above video shows the Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Ranks in clear form. When it comes to the look of the Prestige Icons I like the 8th prestige and the 10th one. However I don’t think I’ll prestige this game like I did in Call of Duty 4 only for the simple fact that it was a pain to having to start all over and work up the guns.

The title is the ultimate question for me when it comes to the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (COD6: MW2) game which is scheduled to release on November 10, 2009.

When it comes to the prestige ranks what’s your take on it? Do you think they will similar to what they look like for Call of Duty 4 or how about Call of Duty 5? Ehh… what if they went towards another games prestige ranks like the Rainbow Six Vegas ones or even the Battlefield Bad Company ones… Well only time will tell on what the Prestige Ranks for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will look like. According to the fourzerotwo website there is a planned Double XP weekend starting Friday Feb. 27th. Here is more information about what they have to offer for the gamers who are playing Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare…

Starting Tuesday Feb. 24th, the Variety Map Pack will become %50 off for those of you who still need to pick it up, leading up to the promotion, I’ll also be giving out tokens to download it for free on Twitter. When the last weekend of Feb. hits, starting Friday Feb. 27th and going until Monday morning, we’ll be flipping the ol’ mighty Double XP switch one more time!

The 50% off Map Pack, Hardcore Headquarters playlist and Double XP includes Xbox Live and Playstation Network!
Anyone and everyone can participate, no sign-up, no anything. Just pop in the game on Friday the 27th and play. We’ll handle the rest.

I picked up my Xbox 360 controller lastnight and started playing some Call of Duty 4. It’s been a while (like 2 months) since i’ve played and I just realized that I was on the 48th level of the 3rd Prestige Rank. Call of Duty 4 Prestige Ranking Icons / Badges

When you hit a level 55 in the game Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare for the Xbox 360. There is an option that is given that allows you to go “Prestige Mode” it’s almost like a way of saying give up all your current weapons, classes, and challenges to start all over again with a nice little Prestige Mode Icon / Badge. If you choose to take the option of Prestige Mode then you can continue to go Prestige for the max of 10 times (55 levels times 10). Its all done to pretty much show theses awesome Prestige Badges / Icons that are listed below.
