SingStar returns with Queen for the PS2 and PS3

This is awesome news for anyone who loves the band Queen or who has ever played SingStar for the PS2 or PS3. If you have then you know how fun it is when you are at a house party and every drunk person around you wants to sing. Now with the rock n roll legend Queen this is going to be a definite buy for my household. From the Queen SingStar teaser video it looks as if the game ig going to release this August. I might just pre-order mine now and get ahead of the game.

Below is a list of games that I either played, tried the demo for it or my friends have told me that the game was scary as hell. When it comes to some of the games like Silent Hill 2 my number 1 scariest game I must say it was so intense at times that I couldn’t play it late at night cause it would freak me out… Some of the games just have those parts where you are on the edge of your seat then BAM! something jumps around the corner and scares the crap out of you.

Number 10 Scariest Game : Fatal Frame 2

Fatal Frame II uses gameplay mechanics very similar to its predecessor, with some changes and updates. For most of the game you control Mio Amakura, except for some short scenes where you control her elder twin sister Mayu. (more)

Number 9 Scariest Game : Manhunt

Set in dilapidated Carcer City, the story opens with a female journalist reporting on the convict James Earl Cash, a criminal on death row who has supposedly been executed by lethal injection. Cash awakes to the voice of a person coming from an earpiece, revealing that Cash was only sedated. (more)

Number 8 Scariest Game : Siren

Siren is set in a remote, rural Japanese mountain village named Hanuda, which is described as being very traditional and particularly xenophobic. Following the interruption of a ritual ceremony in the forest near midnight and a subsequent earthquake, the village teeters wildly between time and space, with an infinite sea of blood-red water in place of the usual surrounding mountains. I was going through the Popular Mechanics website when I came across this very interesting article… The article shows in 3 easy steps how to convert your current Playstation 3 into a Linux PC. The steps are that which follow:
Step 1.) Back Up – the first procedure is a no-brainer back up your data as you would before working on any PC.
Step 2.) Upgrade Your Drive – allows you to replace your 40 gb or 80 gb hard drive to a nice 250 GB hard drive.
Step 3.) Install Your New OS – note that the PS3 can’t run Microsoft Windows or Apple’s OS X so that is why you are converting it to a Linux system.

However, the steps do appear much more detailed on the site. The site also mentions that the conversion back to the original PS3 settings is a bit tricky. Get $500 towards a PS3!Similar Posts:

Call of Duty 4 – Intel Locations

There are 30 pieces of Intel in the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare single-player game. If you can find them it allows you to unlock new cheats for the single-player game after completing it once. They appear in the game world as laptops; to pick them up, you simply need to find the laptop and pick it up. Don’t worry if you miss a piece of intel, you can try to find it again if you just replay the level it’s on.

Here is a video that shows you the exact locations of the Intel in COD4.

Call of Duty 4 – Mapping Contest

The people over at infinityward.com are having a mapping contest. The contest allows you to build your own map for the Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare video game. The contest ends March 31, 2008 so hurry up and get your map together! You can find all the tools via theses sites: Step 1, Step 2, and Step 3. Once you’ve completed the 3 steps then you are on your way with a chance to winning the contest! Here are a few key things (provided by InfinityWard) to keep in mind:
1 – Design your maps around your platform of choice (PC, Xbox 360, or PS3); as you never know where it could end up.

2 – Download and play other players custom maps and take notes. What’s cool? What’s unique? What’s fun about them?

3 – Beta test your custom maps. Post it on the forums, get friends to download it and play it on their PC and give feedback.

4 – You’ll need the PC version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare installed to use the tools. So make sure you meet the minimum specs.
