Did you ever want to follow news journalists on twitter to get “tomorrow’s newspaper today“? Well look no further over at the site called Muck Rack you can do just that. Muck Rack is a site that provides a huge database of journalists from all around the country. The site allows you to submit yourself if you are a journalist or if you know of one that isn’t mentioned on their site. This is a great site for when you have important news to share and you need a local journalist to share it with.

Here are a few Florida based Newspapers that are worth visiting on the site; Orlando Sentinel, Miami Herald and St. Petersburg Times. Check them out and see what they have to offer for your local area.

After reading a few great articles like Why Brands ABSOLUTELY DO Belong on Twitter and Do Brands Belong on Twitter? I recently started noticing a lot of big name companies that were using twitter as a source of social networking and brand recognition. Once I started noticing all these companies I began to bookmark them until my bookmark folder started to scroll. Well with all that in mind I decided to create a list of different companies and brand names that are on twitter to share with you.

Apparently “Joe the Plumber” might be the most famous plumber in the world. However, when you watch late-night television all you seem to see it a huge joke based around his actions (see above video). In addition to the video I came across a Yahoo News article stating that he’s not really a licensed plumber. Not only is he not a licensed plumber but, according to this Yahoo News article he owes $1,200 in back taxes.

Wow I guess when you obtain your fifteen minutes of fame the media starts to really dig up the the dirt on your history. I wonder what will happen when I win the lottery one day…

If you’ve seen anything in the news about the Casey Anthony case and the missing child. Then you know that there is a crowd of 15 minute famers who show up to the Anthony front lawn to protest just to be on the news (come on you know it’s true.. quit kidding yourself).  If you’ve seen any of the people on the news that are out in the front lawn of Casey Anthony’s house you would think you were watching the Jerry Springer show. And now I read somewhere that apparently the Dr. Phil show was taping outside their house…

Well to top it all off there is a “Mobile Web Cam” that is stationed right outside of their front lawn. When I saw this I couldn’t believe it… it’s as if they turned a tragic story into a media circus. And as for the parents of Casey Anthony why in the world would they even come out of their house to provoke the people who are inches away from trespassing on their lawn. It just blows my mind!
