The people over at infinityward.com are having a mapping contest. The contest allows you to build your own map for the Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare video game. The contest ends March 31, 2008 so hurry up and get your map together! You can find all the tools via theses sites: Step 1, Step 2, and Step 3. Once you’ve completed the 3 steps then you are on your way with a chance to winning the contest! Here are a few key things (provided by InfinityWard) to keep in mind:
1 – Design your maps around your platform of choice (PC, Xbox 360, or PS3); as you never know where it could end up.

2 – Download and play other players custom maps and take notes. What’s cool? What’s unique? What’s fun about them?

3 – Beta test your custom maps. Post it on the forums, get friends to download it and play it on their PC and give feedback.

4 – You’ll need the PC version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare installed to use the tools. So make sure you meet the minimum specs.

5 – Most importantly, if you have any problems whatsoever or have questions, jump on the forums or visit the IWiki for help.

I’ve been playing Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare on my xbox 360 for about a month and a half now and as i’ve been playing I’ve come across a bunch of people who were doing some glitching while I was playing against them in an Xbox Live Match (an online match).
