I got tired of going to my original Modern Warfare 2 prestige rank post and playing the video in order to see the prestige icons. So I decided to make a new post that shows the actual images of the MW2 Prestige Ranks.

• Prestige 1: Extra Custom Class Slot (6 Total, custom slots become available at Level 4), New Emblem, New Title, “Prestige” Tier of Challenges, including Veteran and Mastery challenges for each weapon

As I mentioned before way back in June 2009 there was a list of Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Icons that were thought by some to be the correct ones… Well they were wrong. The above video shows the Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Ranks in clear form. When it comes to the look of the Prestige Icons I like the 8th prestige and the 10th one. However I don’t think I’ll prestige this game like I did in Call of Duty 4 only for the simple fact that it was a pain to having to start all over and work up the guns.

It’s funny that people might see the above Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Prestige badges and think that they are legit. If so then why are there two different versions? Granted I myself don’t know if they are the real ones or not… However, if you think about it do you really think that if Infinity Ward were to release any screenshots of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Prestige badges they would have placed them on the Modern Warfare 2 website. Like they did for the in game screen shots as well as the game trailer. So for those who are dieing to get their hands on what the “real” prestige badges look like… I suggest subscribing to this site and come back when the game launches so you can get a glimpse of the “Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Prestige badges” and not the ones that are shown…

The one on the left look as if they were copy & paste from a military site on the net. The ones on the right look like a combination of HALO ranks and Battlefield Bad Company Ranks.
