A friend recently sent me this article from Crispygamer.com that has a bunch of games and gaming products that are scheduled to be released the same week as Madden NFL 10.

From what I gathered from the Crispy Gamer post about Madden NFL 10 is that it’s amazing how gaming and movies are so similar when in comes to release dates. For instance if there is a big named movie that is about to be released and a known but not so known movie is released around the same time it some times gets seen the next weekend if at all.

However, when it comes to a game release if a person has been saving up for the game they really want they usually disregard any other ones that are being released around the same time and sometimes wait for a used one or they borrow it from a friend. Prime example is myself..

So to sum up my whole story… if I were a gaming company I’d consider checking out the release date on games (well atleast big hit ones) and i’d possibly push it back about a month or two so the hype of the big name game dies down.

According to the EA website a FREE Madden NFL 10 demo will be released to both the PlayStation Store and Xbox LIVE on Thursday, July 30th. Available on the Playstation Store and Xbox LIVE Silver subscribers on Thursday, July 30th.

• Early Madden NFL 10 FREE Demo Access for Xbox LIVE Gold Subscribers! – For fans that are Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers, you’ll get access to the Madden NFL 10 FREE Demo an entire week early! The demo will be made available to Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers on Thursday, July 23rd.

For more details about the Madden NFL 10 game and demo check out the EA website. Ehh personally myself… I’ll wait about a week after the game is released and then hit up GameStop for a used version that is probably $30 cheaper than a new one. But, ehh that’s just me… Enjoy the game!
