I tried to use the site Salary.com because they have a salary wizard on there site that helps you with what locals in your area are making as well as what the employers are paying. Well, here’s the thing…. I can’t find my job tile on the site anywhere… granted there are job titles on there that are similar to my profession but the description that is given is way to intense compared to what I do. Here are just a few job titles I give myself in certain company.

  • Internet Marketing Consultant
  • e-Marketing Specialist
  • Search Engine Marketer
  • Internet Marketer
  • Pay Per Click Specialist
  • Online Marketer
  • Web Marketing Specialist
  • Affiliate Marketer
  • Revenue Robot (i had to throw it in)

The site does list the career of a Media Buyer but, I don’t consider myself a media buyer. Because the job description involves alot more then what I do. So until Salary.com includes more “Internet Friendly” jobs i’ll have to keep giving the same ole’ salary requirements I always give.Similar Posts:
