Make Money online

Have you ever wanted to advertise on sites like JohnChow.com, Problogger.net, or even ChrisBrogan.com but… you didn’t want to pay for the 125 x 125 advertising spots or a “Paid Review” blog posts? Well, then I found the perfect opportunity to hit them at the back door of advertising and only pay pennies! The secret is go through Google Adwords… that’s right Google has a section of advertising placement called “Placements“. With Google Placements you can choose a keyword to search such as “make money blogging” or you can search to see if a site offers Adsense placements on their site / feeds.

Here is the simple step process which is mentioned above:

  • Log into Google Adwords
  • Click the “New online campaign” towards the center middle
  • Select “Start with placements
  • Next choose from; Browse categories, Describe topics, List URLs or Select demographics I tend to go with the “Describe topics
  • So say you choose “Describe topics” use a keyword like “make money blogging
  • You’ll then see a lot of sites that have to deal with blogging
  • Select ones that you know of and a few with high traffic
  • Next place your bid and if your bid is high enough to get displayed (along with page quality) then BAM! you are in there and all you a paying is the cost per click that you opted to pay

This is a great idea to set up if you were to sign up with Hydra Networks and create a few landing pages for your traffic to land on.

Learning SEO and Internet Marketing

While I was going to school there was never any mention of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), or any Online Marketing for that matter. What I know know is what i’ve taught myself over the years or what i’ve read up on from legends like Jeremy Schoemaker (a.k.a ShoeMoney), John Chow (a.k.a John Chow), and Darren Rowse (a.k.a ProBlogger). They have taught me tips and tricks of the revenue trade. However when it comes to the subject of White Hat SEO, Gray Hat SEO, or Black Hat SEO i’ve taught myself thoses tricks. Like way back when it was cool to collect a whole bunch of fonts at the bottom of your page and make it the same color as that background now that is “old school”. Well the point i’m trying to get accross is that there should be alot more information provided in school about online advertising and the many functions of it. Instead of taking several years to teach yourself how to do it and keep up with the latest events happening with it.
