Over the weekend I came across some great deals at IKEA. I was looking to add more furniture to my already modern looking home office. While there I realized they were having a crazy memorial day sale because, when I showed up there was a line wrapped around the building. The line wasn’t to get into the place or for the free breakfast they were having that day… it was for the POÄNG chair and cushion they were selling for only $39 which was an awesome deal when they usually go for $129. I also picked up a few EXPEDIT Desks for $55 and some EXPEDIT bookshelves which were on sale for $49. The trip there took a few hours… cause’ it’s like a day in a furniture amusement park!

Since I recently installed the IKEA laminate floors in my house I figured i’d decorate the living room a bit more by adding a nice entertainment center. I went to IKEA and purchased the black-brown BESTÅ / INREDA entertainment center with sliding doors. I upgraded the sliding doors with the BESTÅ HOLMBO sliding doors. In my opinion they looked much nicer then the black-brown ones that come with it. What do you think…?
