So you’re wondering what “stop-motion animation” means… well according to the Computer Arts website “Stop-motion animation” is creating the illusion of movement by taking a still photo of a stationary object, moving it a small increment and capturing another photo. Kind of like this Rymdreglage – 8-bit trip video I found over on YouTube.

How to: Word Wrap in Visual Studios 2005 / 2008

So recently at work i’ve been working a little bit with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008. After working with Dreamweaver for so many years I’ve always made sure everything word wrapped around and looked clean. Well after asking a few developer friends of mine they couldn’t point in the right direction so I did a little research and came across the proper way to word wrap in Microsoft Visual Studios 2005 / 2008. Below is the procedure if anyone else was wondering how to word wrap in Microsoft Visual Studios.

On the Tools menu, select Options.
In the Text Editor folder, choose the General options in the All Languages subfolder to set this option globally.— or —Choose the General options in the subfolder for the language in which you are programming.
Under Settings, select or clear the Word wrap option.When the Word wrap option is selected, the Show visual glyphs for word wrap option is enabled.
Select the Show visual glyphs for Word Wrap option if you prefer to display a return-arrow indicator where a long line wraps onto a second line. Clear this option if you prefer not to display indicator arrows.

If you’ve ever received a link that looked like this “http://bit.ly/XwvPr” or if you’ve seen people using them over on twitter you may not know this but, they use them to track the statistics of people. There are other sites out there that do similar click statistics however, I’ve notice that the Bit.ly seem to be the more popular ones and I use them myself.

In order to view the statistics of a link you simply do the following…

Copy the link that you were sent or one that you’ve come across such as this one “http://bit.ly/XwvPr“.
Once you’ve copied the link paste it in your browser address bar.
Then between the “.ly/” and the code “XwvPr” add the word “info/” so the link should look like this “http://bit.ly/info/XwvPr

If you’ve followed the steps above you will be able to view the stats of any Bit.ly link.Similar Posts:

If you’ve ever wanted to know how to properly give a High-Five the check out the steps provided by: Wired.com.

The Classic

1. Always initiate. He who launches the high-five owns the high-five. Engage your upper-arm muscles, keep your wrist firm, and propel your hand like the meteor of awesome it is. (Maintain altitude and an open hand — this ain’t no fist bump.) Your high-five can only surrender.

2. Don’t look at the hand. That looming palm is a moving, unpredictable target. Instead, keep your eye on the elbow; that’ll automatically line up your mitts.

3. Cup your palm. As you reach the high point of the arc, make your hand slightly concave to create that satisfying thunderclap.
