Why waste your money on a basic Xbox 360 Headset? When you can purchase the Turtle Beach Ear Force XLC Stereo headset for nearly the same price (roughly $10 more)?

You know through Amazon you can trade-in old games and get Amazon credit to purchase a new headset such as the Turtle Beach ones that are mentioned. Or if you trade in enough games you could get the Ear Force PX5 Programmable Wireless Headset with Bluetooth that are around $210 and well worth the money.

Over the weekend I picked up the Ear Force X1 Stereo Headset to replace my old basic Xbox 360 headphones that came with the console. The new headset is pretty cool because it combines the Xbox Live chat and game audio. It is also powered by USB which is convenient. There is also a better version called Ear Force X4 Dolby Digital Wireless (Headphones) which is what I blogged about a bit back. Do you have a favorite headset you like to use when you’re gaming? If so then leave a comment and tell us what they are.
