Hack Feedburner – Increase RSS Subscribers

This is simple and amazing I came across a very interesting post over at: thenextweb.org. It talks about how you can hack Feedburner in 2 minutes (video below) and get a ridiculous amount of RSS feed readers… (fake ones).

This is very very sneaky and would be a great tactic if you were having a RSS contest. (hint-hint / wink-wink) Because, I’ve seen ALOT of sneaky things online from people creating screen shots of their RSS counters and photoshoping another RSS count on the image… to even using another persons Feedburner url on their site so it looks like their site has a large number of readers.

However, this Feedburner hack seems to be fairly new I’m sure people have known about his for a while and possibly profited from it in some way. Check out the video below and be sure to visit thenextweb.org for more information.

I was inspired by this find that shows hookers on a street corner in Emeryville, CA via Google Maps. So… I tried to do a similar search in the areas of O.B.T (Orange Blossom Trail) here in Orlando. The street and area is a known place for street walkers and the homeless. But, instead of finding hookers or bums I found a gas station with cheap gas prices… check out the image below to see for yourself.

I just noticed the my site was a Page Rank 1 (PR). Did Google recently update it’s algorithm? Because I remember a while back when I first converted this blog over from Blogger my domain had a PR 4 then all of a sudden it was a zero and now it’s back to a 1. According to this article starting Feb. 11 Google is deploying a “Domain Kiting” detection system. “Domain Kiting” is a practice used to generate income from domain names without paying for them. The process takes advantage of a the 5 day grace period that exists when registering domain names with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). WOW.. when my account was banned from my Google Adsense I thought I had it rough just loosing my $6,000 – $8,000 for one month. But, then when I came across the story of two twins losing a $200k Adsense fortune I kinda felt relieved. Because I think I would rather lose what I lost then what they lost. Granted I was depressed and upset with myself when I couldn’t log into my account I could have only imagined what I would have done with the knowledge of loosing $200,000. According to SearchEngineLand and RedHerring Google has bought Adscape Media for $23 million WOW! that is crazy! I wish Google would start looking for little guys ideas to buy because I have plenty of them to offer. It seems as if Google is going a little wild theses days to buy up as much Internet properties that are doing good in order to create and advertising challenge to the smaller companies on the Internet.
