I’ve always been a fan of the Need for Speed series and the latest Need for Speed World Online looks like it might pass all the other ones up as may favorite. Although it’s a PC game and I’m a die-hard Xbox 360 Fan this game just might be worth it to buy! One thing that sucks is that the game isn’t scheduled to be released until Q4 2010 according to IGN. Here is a nice collection of screen shots as well as some of the cars that are going to be in the game.
The details on the cars and the surrounds in the new Gran Turismo 5 look simply amazing…! The game is scheduled to be released on November 1, 2010 so you should pre-order
yourself a copy today.
Here are some great features of the game presented by Amazon:
- 1,000 Vehicles – 170 Premium new models, including hybrids and EVs, and 830 kinds of standard models similar to those seen in previous games.
- Plenty of Courses - Rip it up in more than 20 courses, more than 60 layouts.
- New Physics – The in-game physics system simulation is brand new to the series, and allows for greater realism and damage.
- Arcade Mode – Allows for single race functionality and 2-player battle.
- GT Mode Features – World Map, My Garage, Car Dealer, Tuning Shop, Car Washes/Oil Change, Race Championship (Series system, point system), License Test.
- Online Features – 16-player support, Open Lobby, Text / Voice Chat, Private rooms, Online Photo Album, Online Replay Album, YouTube replay output.
- Photo Mode – Photo Drive and Photo stage.
- Gran Turismo TV – Video output to a PSP or PSP Go, Progressive Download, Improved user interface, continuous play for videos.
- Sound Features – Custom soundtracks pulled from your PS3 hard-drive; Dolby Digital 5.1 and 7.1.
From watching the video above to me it looks like it takes place in Gotham City. But according to IGN the game known as “Blacklight” is a covert military action epic set twenty-five years in the future. The game has a release date of Q2 2010.
If you recall a bit back I wrote about the Metro 2033 : First Trailer which was just the beginning for Metro 2033. Well now with only a few days left before the game is launched there is another trailer released that is shown above. It’s the Ghosts of the Metro Trailer which looks like it’s going to be pretty intense and scary!
If you pre-order Metro 2033, for the Xbox 360, you’ll get a gas mask for your Xbox LIVE Avatar. Access code will be e-mailed within ten business days after the game releases. Offer valid when shipped and sold by Amazon.com, while supplies last. Limit one per customer.
