List of Brands and Companies on Twitter

Tuesday, January 13th, 2009 | Networking with 1 Comment

After reading a few great articles like Why Brands ABSOLUTELY DO Belong on Twitter and Do Brands Belong on Twitter? I recently started noticing a lot of big name companies that were using twitter as a source of social networking and brand recognition. Once I started noticing all these companies I began to bookmark them until my bookmark folder started to scroll. Well with all that in mind I decided to create a list of different companies and brand names that are on twitter to share with you.

Do you know of any other companies that are on Twitter? If so then feel free to leave a comment of the company and their twitter profile URL. Don’t forget to follow me on twitter if you aren’t already… twitter.com/revenuerobot

simply click the to pop open their profile in a new tab/window…

Face Your Manga : Create an Avatar of Yourself

Thursday, August 21st, 2008 | Creative, Networking with 4 Comments

Manga Me I’ve been seeing people change their images all over the place from MSN
Messenger to AIM and even over on Twitter. So I was wondering where in the world are they creating theses sharp  looking avatars… so I asked a friend she then pointed me over to this site called Faceyourmanga.com.

The Face your Manga site is pretty creative concept it allows you to create a cartoon avatar version of yourself (as you see me to the left). What’s really cool is that there are
unlimited
 combinations
to create your very own virtual
alter‐ego.

According to the site you can get your own avatar in few easy steps…

  1. Customize the look of your Avatar
  2. Enter your e-mail address
  3. Receive the Avatar in your e-mail address.

When it came to step 2… instead of entering my email address like I did the first time (which i’m still waiting on my avatar) I just took a screen shot and cropped it in Photoshop. For those who don’t know how to take a screenshot please visit this site.

Go check out Faceyourmanga.com and leave a comment below to your site or location to where you are using you new avatar.

My New RevenueRobot Blog and Branding

Sunday, July 6th, 2008 | Blogging, Personal with 6 Comments

Hello everyone…! If you’ve visited my site before you may notice a major change in things. Such as the blog layout and my RevenueRobot icon. Below is an image of what I had before and what I have now.

Compare icons

I’ve gone threw several different logo designs as well as icon designs before I just stuck with just one. In addition to the icons and logo I couldn’t decide on a color combo either. So I went with my favorite color “olive green” and lighter shades of green with a hint of gray.

So please let me know if you come across and bugs because this blog is a work in progress! As a note I am still leaving my old icon on my old site whereas it would be more of a pain to create something for that site. I’m keeping that content up till January of next year because, I still get traffic to the site and just wanted to keep it up a whole year before I took it down. Also please feel free to leave a comment on what you think of the new blog layout, coloring and/or branding icon.
