Last year, Modern Warfare 2 made a controversial splash with its ill-titled spoof video Fight Against Grenade Spam (or F.A.G.S). Well, just a few days back Battlefield Bad Company 2 teamed up with NY Yankees pitcher C.C. Sabathia to stand up to and speak out against grenade spammers with a response video: Friends Really Against Grenade Spam (or F.R.A.G.S.). Are you good at Battlefield: Bad Company 2…? Do you think you have what it takes? Battlefield Bad Company 2 – Server Issues Update

With all the traffic going to the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 servers on opening game weekend they’ve encountered some outages. Well needless to say they are hard at work at fixing the problem. Here’s brief overview of the current server status:

X360 was severely impacted, and the service is being restarted. It should be back online and we are monitoring closely.

PS3 appeared to have a brief outage, but has quickly recovered and the services is functioning properly at this time.

All teams are working on diagnosing and remediating the issue, including adding additional servers to help alleviate the load. The EA team sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience and I’ll continue to provide you with further updates on the latest developments as they are occur. The above trailer features vehicle/on-foot gameplay sequences – not to mention the beautiful destruction and chaos unique to Bad Company 2. The Map Pack contains two new maps, Nelson Bay (Rush) and Laguna Alta (Conquest). Console gamers that buy used versions which don’t include a code can purchase one via the in-game store for $15 – PC gamers will get the content via game update. EA and DICE would like to alert everyone that the Bad Company 2 demo has amassed quite the community, recording its 3.5 millionth download! The console demo will expire in three short days, so players interested in getting an early taste of the action should download it before February 25th. After that date, the DICE servers will shut down, and shift support to the game launch on March 2nd.

Also, the Battlefield Ultimate Prestige site is now accepting new recruits, and everyone regardless of skill level can now gain access! The up and coming Battlefield: Bad Company 2 game that is scheduled to be released on March 2, 2010 looks like it’s going to be better than the last one. Well at least from the looks of all these screenshots of the game it looks much more details and darker than the last game. As soon as the game comes out I’ll try to create a post about the ranks of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 so everyone is informed.

If you want to pick up the original Battlefield: Bad Company to kill some time before the new one comes out you can find it for about $18.00 for the Xbox 360 and about $14.00 for the PS3 all over on Amazon.

I recently shown you some Battlefield Bad Company 2 screen shots… Well Above is an amazing video of some game play to look forward to! One thing I do love about the Bad Company games id the fact that you can blow up the buildings and they stay blown up throughout the whole game. Where as some games i’ve played in the past cars and buildings would come back to life after a while. Although the new Battlefield: Bad Company 2 game is an EA game I must admit the screen shots for the game look pretty impressive. One good thing about the game is that it uses the DICE Frostbite engine which allows for destructible environments and from what i’ve read online about the game is that they’ve stepped it up a bit since the first Bad Company.
