The M24 access will be automatically awarded when Medal of Honor releases to all players who have bought Bad Company 2 and claimed their VIP code (in the X360 and PS3 box only) or played BC2 online (PC). The same EA account must be used in Bad Company 2 and Medal of Honor to make use of the M24.

As of yesterday Wednesday 4/21, you have the ability to give your Bad Company 2 soldier some style with the Kit Upgrade DLC! In North America, gamers can punch in a promo code printed on specially marked Dr. Pepper cans to unlock the pack, which contains 4 kits (one for each class) with specific unique uniforms and camouflaged weapons to give you a visual edge on the battlefield. Releases 4/21 on Xbox 360, coming soon for PS3/PC.

Recruited strictly from other high-level Special Operations units such as Delta Force and Spetsnaz, the Special Activities groups – SPECACT – are the elite of the elite, used mainly for covert operations and other high-risk missions in areas where conventional troops cannot be used. With the 4 kit specific unique uniforms and the camouflaged SPECACT personal M16A2, UMP-45, MG3 and M95 SNIPER you have a visual edge on the Battlefield, showing that you’re a force to be reckoned with. The pack also includes 12 new awards and 4 Achievements.

Squad Rush Mode for Bad Company 2 is now unlocked for all PS3 & Xbox 360 gamers! Formerly a pre-order exclusive, the new mode pits 2 squads of 4 players against one another in an intense infantry-only version of the Rush game-mode.

Are you good at Battlefield: Bad Company 2…? Do you think you have what it takes? I ask this because the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 community tournament just went live – the NVIDIA Battle for PAX Tournament invites you to squad up with 3 buddies and duke it out against 4 other teams in a unique single-elimination Squad Deathmatch. Battlefield Bad Company 2 – Server Issues Update

With all the traffic going to the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 servers on opening game weekend they’ve encountered some outages. Well needless to say they are hard at work at fixing the problem. Here’s brief overview of the current server status:

X360 was severely impacted, and the service is being restarted. It should be back online and we are monitoring closely.

PS3 appeared to have a brief outage, but has quickly recovered and the services is functioning properly at this time.

All teams are working on diagnosing and remediating the issue, including adding additional servers to help alleviate the load. The EA team sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience and I’ll continue to provide you with further updates on the latest developments as they are occur. The above trailer features vehicle/on-foot gameplay sequences – not to mention the beautiful destruction and chaos unique to Bad Company 2. The Map Pack contains two new maps, Nelson Bay (Rush) and Laguna Alta (Conquest). Console gamers that buy used versions which don’t include a code can purchase one via the in-game store for $15 – PC gamers will get the content via game update. However if you purchase the game new you can download Day 1 DLC Map Pack for free.
