When it comes to the game Battlefield 1943 there are 50 different ranks you can become. Below are all of them… you can check out the Official Battlefield 1943 website to view what rank you are under the “My Soldier” tab. If you haven’t downloaded the demo to this game then you should really check it out… I must say even for an EA game this one is pretty good.

While checking out the Battlefield 1943 demo the other I notice Xbox was offering a sweepstakes. So I decided to check it out… apparently Electronic Arts (EA) is giving away Battlefield 1943 gear and stuff like; Battlefield 1943 T-Shirt, Battlefield 1943 Aviator style sunglasses and more. Check out the event on the Xbox Calendar of simply follow the steps below.

How to Enter
To enter the sweepstakes, you must download the free Battlefield 1943 Gamer Picture Pack from Marketplace between 12:00 A.M. Pacific Time (PT) on July 5 and 11:59 P.M. PT on July 20, 2009.

There are two ways to download the Gamer Pic: Download it online here or from Marketplace on Xbox LIVE. To download the gamer pic:

• Sign into Xbox LIVE and access Game Marketplace
• Select Themes & Gamer Pictures
• Select Browse
• Select All Gamer Pictures
• Under Title, Select B
• Select Battlefield 1943 Registration Picture Pack from the list of available content and select Confirm Download

Last night I downloaded the trial version of Battlefield 1943 on my Xbox 360. But when I tried to play it I kept getting the “failed to connect to EA server” error. So I was like what the hell is going on? Well apparently kotaku explains it by saying…

“There’s some serious technical issues marring the game’s launch at the moment, which EA claim are the result of the servers being full, courtesy of player numbers being much higher than EA were expecting.”

So I guess I’ll wait a few days and then try it again… If you haven’t downloaded the demo yet I’d suggest you check it out and play against your friends.
