Last year, Modern Warfare 2 made a controversial splash with its ill-titled spoof video Fight Against Grenade Spam (or F.A.G.S). Well, just a few days back Battlefield Bad Company 2 teamed up with NY Yankees pitcher C.C. Sabathia to stand up to and speak out against grenade spammers with a response video: Friends Really Against Grenade Spam (or F.R.A.G.S.). I’ve always been a fan of the Need for Speed series and the latest Need for Speed World Online looks like it might pass all the other ones up as may favorite. Although it’s a PC game and I’m a die-hard Xbox 360 Fan this game just might be worth it to buy! One thing that sucks is that the game isn’t scheduled to be released until Q4 2010 according to IGN. Kind of like this Rymdreglage – 8-bit trip video I found over on YouTube.

If you recall just the other day I mention the release date for the latest Modern Warfare 2 map pack. Well apparently there the video above that shows some of the leaked maps that are going to be in the new map pack. The new map pack will cost 1,200 Microsoft Points ($15). Below is a list of names for the maps…

“Bailout“, a multi-level apartment complex;
“Storm“, an open industrial park littered with heavy machinery;
“Salvage“, a snowy junkyard fortified by stacked debris and crushed cars;
“Crash“, a war-torn urban environment;

Well the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 fanatics don’t have to wait too much longer for the downloadable multiplayer maps. Mainly because according to the Mapathy website and fourzerotwo who states that they will hit the Xbox 360 on March 30, 2010.

That’s right ladies and gents… as I mentioned a bit back they were going to be released sometime in the spring well looks like spring is right around the corner! Battlefield Bad Company 2 – Server Issues Update

With all the traffic going to the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 servers on opening game weekend they’ve encountered some outages. Well needless to say they are hard at work at fixing the problem. Here’s brief overview of the current server status:

X360 was severely impacted, and the service is being restarted. It should be back online and we are monitoring closely.

PS3 appeared to have a brief outage, but has quickly recovered and the services is functioning properly at this time.

All teams are working on diagnosing and remediating the issue, including adding additional servers to help alleviate the load. The EA team sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience and I’ll continue to provide you with further updates on the latest developments as they are occur. New Update to Xbox LIVE Code of Conduct

Well they’ve updated the Xbox LIVE Code of Conduct here is a brief capture of what the update allows…

“The recent update to the Xbox LIVE Terms of Use and Code of Conduct which will allow our members to more freely express their race, nationality, religion and sexual orientation in Gamertags and profiles. Under our previous policy, some of these expressions of self-identification were not allowed in Gamertags or profiles to prevent the use of these terms as insults or slurs. However we have since heard feedback from our customers that while the spirit of this approach was genuine, it inadvertently excluded a part of our Xbox LIVE community. This update also comes hand-in-hand with increased stringency and enforcement to prevent the misuse of these terms.”

Here is the link to the latest Online Policies / Code of Conduct. As stated on their site please be sure to reread this document once in a while because Microsoft will update it periodically.
