That guy I think was cheating some way or another just because of how fast he did it… and within about 90 seconds of the start of the next match he already had 22 kills and a Pave Low ripping everyone up.

I got 47 kills on Chinatown in TDM once but it took a whole match and some badass airstrikes and helicopters and alot of luck. In nearly two years of playing COD4 I think I saw around 10 people get 40 kills in a TDM match, and four or so were mine. Already in less than a week of MW2 I’ve seen almost that many people get 40-kill matches.

I actually had a match yesterday, 40 kills and 5 deaths… pretty crazy. Had a 20-kill streak at one point… I just couldn’t stop killing people… it was fun as hell I didn’t do it in three minutes but I can imagine some of the guys I was killing were pretty pissed.

Playing MW2 on PS3 yesterday I saw a guy get 47 kills in approximately 3 minutes on regular TDM… and I got the accolade for most ADS kills with 12 total. Something a little fishy there, I think.

Gotta love the useless comments from all the people who think they’re “beasts” and “savages” at Modern Warfare 2.

@dc here are 2 answers that may help answer your PS3 server problem. Randolph d'Amore states over on twitter: "We don't have a hard ETA on the servers coming back up, but the outage is totally unrelated to the patch."

Robert Bowling states over on twitter: "Xbox Live servers are maintained and ran by Microsoft. PSN servers are ran and maintained by 3rd party companies hired to do so."

And then later on he mentioned... "Final #MW2 PS3 Status update of the day: PSN Multiplayer should be running at full capacity. We expect smooth skies ahead." so from my understanding your PS3 servers should be up and running again... and if not come one over to the dark side and buy an Xbox 360 :)
