EA and DICE would like to alert everyone that the Bad Company 2 demo has amassed quite the community, recording its 3.5 millionth download! The console demo will expire in three short days, so players interested in getting an early taste of the action should download it before February 25th. After that date, the DICE servers will shut down, and shift support to the game launch on March 2nd.

Also, the Battlefield Ultimate Prestige site is now accepting new recruits, and everyone regardless of skill level can now gain access! Originally locked by a unique skill gate for only experienced MW2/BF players, the Ultimate Prestige site is a tactical field manual that contains insider vehicle, weapon, and map information, as well as strategies to hit the ground running on Day 1.

Tiger Woods Escalade will be fixed and eventually sold

The title is exactly what is going to happen… According to the AutoBlog “the Escalade isn’t owned by Tiger Woods – it’s part of GM’s promotional fleet. As it’s a promotional/marketing vehicle, the SUV goes back to GM for the automaker to decide its fate. Depending on the severity of the repairs, it may head back into the loaner fleet… or it may be replaced by a new vehicle. If it is replaced, the now-repaired Escalade will be pulled from rotation and sent to auction where it goes to the highest bidder.” To read more about whats going on with Tigers Escalade check out the AutoBlog.

From the photo above it looks as if the Escalade is in good condition. I’ve seen worse trying to be sold on eBay or down in Miami. I can only imagine what this Escalade would go for at an auction being it was involved in the Tiger Woods crash.Similar Posts:

I mentioned a while back about the Housing Crisis in my own backyard where I wrote about the apartments that I used to live at and how they being converted into condos.

Well while searching Zillow.com for real estate deals in Orlando I came across something that was scary (in a way) only for the simple fact that when I lived there I was given the opportunity to purchase my apartment as a condo conversion for the price of $245k and that was with a 5% discount. Ahhh well it’s a damn good thing I didn’t buy at the time because check this craziness out…! You can buy the same sized unit (1,200 sq ft ) I lived in for only $79K and here is one for $43k and its a foreclosure! Now that is insane and one hell of a deal! If I had the extra money to buy it as an investment I would because, I did like living there the place had everything; Gated Community w/ indoor basketball, boat ramp, hair & nail salon, restaurant, billiards & rec room, pool and more.Similar Posts:

After reading Major Nelson’s post about Silverlight ads on Xbox 360 and his explanation of how ads are going to be “a more organic part of the dashboard” I just sit back and ask myself why am I paying $50 a year to have ads shoved in my face. Here’s an idea the people at Mico$oft can think about… why not place all the ads you want on the Silver account holders? Ohhh wait I’m sure that once they too see the ads they’ll soon wonder “why would I pay $50 a year to have ads shoved in my face?” hmmm… I may just be eyeing up a discounted PS3 that usually come out around the holiday. ehh this is just my opinion I can only imagine what’s in store next a possible Xbox Live price increase? My IKEA Memorial Day Weekend Deals

Over the weekend I came across some great deals at IKEA. I was looking to add more furniture to my already modern looking home office. While there I realized they were having a crazy memorial day sale because, when I showed up there was a line wrapped around the building. The line wasn’t to get into the place or for the free breakfast they were having that day… it was for the POÄNG chair and cushion they were selling for only $39 which was an awesome deal when they usually go for $129. I also picked up a few EXPEDIT Desks for $55 and some EXPEDIT bookshelves which were on sale for $49. The trip there took a few hours… cause’ it’s like a day in a furniture amusement park!

The recent outbreak of the deadly swine flu spreads from Mexico to Europe to the United States and beyond, which leads to concern and health warnings. However, this isn’t a new flu to us… According to Wired, The Trentonian, and the New York Times this happened back in 1976 when Gerald Ford was president. Back then President Gerald Ford orders a nationwide vaccination program to prevent a swine flu epidemic.

At the time President Ford was acting on the advice of medical experts, who believed they were dealing with a virus potentially as deadly as the one that caused the 1918 Spanish influenza pandemic.

The deadly virus surfaced in February at Fort Dix, New Jersey, where 19-year-old Pvt. David Lewis told his drill instructor that he felt tired and weak, although not sick enough to skip a training hike. Lewis was dead within 24 hours.

The autopsy revealed that Lewis had been killed by “swine flu,” an influenza virus originating in pigs. By then several other soldiers had been hospitalized with symptoms. Government doctors became alarmed when they discovered that at least 500 soldiers on the base were infected without becoming ill.

According to this MSNBC article it states that “the World Health Organization (WHO) said total bans on travel to Mexico — such as one imposed by Argentina, which hasn’t had any confirmed cases — were questionable because the virus is already fairly widespread.” The virus seems to becoming more intense each day as the Pandemic Phase increases. As of today we are currently at a level 5 Pandemic Alert.
