Well the title would be true if we were in Japan! Because according to PC World they state the following… “Microsoft will begin selling in Japan next month an add-on 250GB hard-disk drive for the Xbox 360 console, it said Monday.

The drive will go on sale on March 11 and will cost ¥15,540 (US$172).

Its launch in Japan will mark the first time Microsoft has offered a 250GB drive add-on for the Xbox 360 as a stand-alone unit. The drive has been available overseas since late last year but only in a bundle with a new console.

While searching Amazon I actually came across the following 250GB HDD Hard Drive Disk compatible with Xbox Which looks like it maybe an aftermarket hard drive.

However, if you’re looking for more information about the 250GB hard-drive as well as opinions about what other people think then you might want to check out the following sites; Nexus 404 and Dvice.

That’s the way to do it. Instead of buying one for close to $200 just buy a cheap 2.5 HDD and make your own for less. Microsoft is terrible for overcharging on their accessories.
