WOW the skateboard controller that is going to be used for the Tony Hawk Ride game looks as if it may end up in some TV’s… kind of like the Wii contollers when the Nintendo Wii first came out. The skateboard controller / item weight is only 5 pounds so it’s pretty light. Ehh I do admit the game looks pretty cool though… Here is a snippet of information from IGN and here is the trailer for the game.

Tony Hawk: Ride features a wireless skateboard controller designed in conjunction with the game to offer a dynamic gaming experience built from the ground up. Using a combination of accelerometers and motion sensors, the intuitive controller allows players to physically control the action by performing various movements and gestures on the board that directly translate into amazing tricks in the game. Without complex button combination’s or analog sticks, gamers of all skill levels can literally step on the board and play!

The game is scheduled to be released on October 13, 2009 so pre-order your copy of Tony Hawk: Ride Skateboard Bundle and get it when it first comes out!

1. Call up some friends.
2. Pick an eligible song from this list.
3. Check out the already submitted videos to get an idea.
4. Next grab the camera fire up Rock Band and record your band with the video camera.
5. After your band has played a song from the list you need to save the video to your computer.
6. Then upload your rock video to the site.

Once you’ve done the steps above you will be on your way to possibly owning an MTV Video Music Award Moonman. Make sure you refer to the Official Contest Rules for more information. Ohh and note starting August 8th there is going to be voting for the videos so get yours in uploaded as quick as possible!

The killer game called Brütal Legend stars the actor / musician Jack Black who plays the role of roadie named Eddie Riggs, a man who sets on an epic quest to build an army of rockers with only a broad axe, a big block V8 and his faithful guitar in hand… The release date for this awesome looking game is October 13, 2009.
