That’s right ladies and gentlemen I gave Spottt the boot… They really haven’t done anything for me. Granted they have this whole points system but, where in the world can I spend my points? Granted they say within their system I’ve spent alot of my points but, I haven’t seen any traffic from them. When I first joined the Spottt – Free Link Exchange service I instantly thought that they would be a mimic of Entrecard but, a little more advanced considering that they are a subsidiary of Adbrite. Well, apparently I was wrong! Below is a screen shot of my stats from February 25th, 2008 – March 12th, 2008.

Has anyone else out there gave Spottt the boot..? Or has anyone found that the Spott – Free Link Exchange service works for them..?

Well it’s automatic. I think it’s like: On every 2 visits to your page (impressions), your ad will appear somewhere once.
“You got 66 clicks” — that means you have got 66 traffics from it so far.
I took it off a few days ago. The number of traffic it brings does not worth my 125×125 space
I am going to kick it if they don’t lift the 500 pixel restriction. That real estate is too prime for the traffic it generates.
I gave spottt the boot after 36 hrs. Here is the link to the article I did. http://www.joshwhitford.com/2008/03/12/real-marketers-of-genius-spottt-free-link-exchange/
I didnt even try spott. So many of these things send 0 traffic. The worst offender is blogrush. What a crapper!
It’s been the same thing on most other blogs. Boy oh boy I’m glad i didn’t even bother with it.
