It’s been a while (like 2 months) since i’ve played and I just realized that I was on the 48th level of the 3rd Prestige Rank. lol yeah we are all level 55 gold crosses!!! for real though im a level 36 prestige rank 8 suck it n00bs!

i am 46 4th time round but if i was to do it when i reached 55 frist time round and i have bout 600.000 points i would of been a 55 golod cross buy now
only 15 year old kids that play 8hrs are 55 hold cross
i hope u guys know that prestige mode is a bunch of worthless crap that only gives u any tiny amount of respect in the pre-game lobby. Then once u actually play everyone sees wether or not ur actually any good. Im a 55 (no prestige) and i usually kick the 10th presiges asses
i do prestige cause its ti easy to kill ppl at 55 and i like to do it at lvl 1

Level 55 Gold cross is ultimatley eveyones goal lets be honest if you have gone prestige you have done that to be a Gold Cross, please feel free to dissagree, but be honest with yourselves.

Ok to some people its a waste of time but for me and probably many others they just do it because they like the game and want to carry on. I personally dont care about peoples rank and i never underestimate anyone even if they havent gone pretige. This coming from a 10th prestige.

Spot on Marc…Well said i couldnt agree more i am now a on 45 level 7 prestige and have been battered many times by people who have not decided to go Prestige, i have loads of friends who are 55 non prestige who are S**t hot, so do what you want to do.
I am level 40 7th prestige and couldnt care less what rank someone is because it could just mean that they have played the game a long time. My proof is that me and my clan played the 5th highest ranked guy in the world and his clan and battered the shit out of them.

im J-4 monster prestige isnt about how goos you are i kick people ass’s online and im only level 14 and havent prestiged so prestige just gives you somthing to do it doesnt indacate that your the best you need to get ore wins and better stats to be the best
hmmm…interesting. i’m a lvl 1 on my 9th prestige. (prestiged last night then went to bed) i guess i could say i’m pretty good, but, i wouldn’t say i’m the best. i can beat some gold crosses, but some are really good. overall, it’s your choice to prestige or not. i didn’t want to when i was a lvl 55 no prestige, but look at me now.
just have fun and prestige if ya want
thats what im talking it about, the game is just for fun and maybe making friends its a contest if you lose you need to practice more and you’ll get better but if you pretige or not is up to you prestiging just makes the game more fun to have all the guns and then start over to get the guns again
Rank 34 prestige 10 which is surprising to me since I’ve only started last weekend.
i am prestige 9 level 55, 2000xp away from p10, i am ok destined to not be the best at it but hay i love the game….i opted to prestige because you could and loads of my mates are already gold crossed up.
there are no rules on what you should do guys.
a good indicater as to who is good or not is normally based on 30+ kills in a game with less than 10 deaths…ratio of 3:1+.
and obviously the more you play you know where to go, as lets say HQ i know which bases will apear and there locations.
i hope this clarifies things gents as some people have very strong opinions but you are all allowed to do what you want.

Hey, I don’t normally post here, but I was browsing through google and I found this thread. Well, I have had 3 accounts/PSNs over the course of about a year and a 1/2. My noob account is a Prestige 10 lv. 55. However, the stats sucked, so I deleted it and made a second account and got to Prestige 4 lv. 55. However, a bunch of 12-year-old faggots copied my PSN account and clan tag, and were running around giving me a bad rep, so, once again, I made another PSN. I’m a nobody right now, but I have a k/d ratio of 2.80+ and I haven’t lost a game yet, so I’m about 160+ wins, 0 losses. I play cage matches to get good ratios, and I temporarily uninstalled my map pack for easy rank-up. I’m pretty into this game. For my new PSN, I plan on going to Prestige 9, lv. 55. Which, in my opinion, is the nicest Prestige. I say this because not many people have it, most noobs get to Prestige 9 lv. 55, and their like, “omg imma b a PreZtiGe 10. OMG HAXORZ nobody Has DIS rank!!!!11!1!1″ lol. Same with gold guns. They don’t mean shit, I earned all of them except for the nubby LMG, and it’s really not that great. There’s no originality. Instead of gold AK-47, I use Red-tiger. It’ll look awesome when I’ll be prestige 9. Red star, red guns, lol my PSN is even, “RediNsaNiTy”. This my friends… Is originality. Also, in my opinion, those who play Search and Destroy are good. You only have one life, there’s an objective, and it’s actually challenging.

As for myself, i’m a 55 10th prestige, and i’m not really a noob about it. yeah the gold cross is overrated, but not everyone is noobish with it. talza is shit hot, so add him. he even made a second account. i did like 9th prestige too, because you don’t see many people with that icon. but since i wanted the gold cross so i could be done, that’s what i did. went gold cross. but anyway… i agree with you on the originality part. they could’ve changed it up a little, y’know? i like using the Red Tiger M4 on the shadowy maps, or the red tiger MP5, but i like usin my gold ak-47 too.
i love search and destroy. i played it since i was 2nd prestige, and that’s basically all i play now. but i haven’t been on COD4 for about a week now, cuz i play Left 4 Dead now. awesome game, man. but anyway, i don’t have a PS3, i have the Xbox 360, but my buddy talza has the PS3. you should add him cuz he’s a good guy.
Thanks for the reply. You said Talza made a second account, what’s the rank of it? Generally if you get to Prestige 10 once, getting back up there isn’t hard at all.

eh i’m alright matey. i’ve been busy though, don’t have much time to play anymore. too busy doing work or projects or chores. it’s a little stressful, but i can live. i managed to get used to my controls again, so i’m back to my legendary status. yay me, lol. oh lol last night i had a clan battle with my clan (i’m the leader of $TAR clan) and i was facing a clan called [DVH] . it was close, but my clan won by a tiny margin in S&D. it was awesome. overall, i came in 2nd place out of all 18 of us, and most of us were 8th prestige and up. oh, and don’t worry talza, lol. i’m gonna get a PS3 soon enough. just gotta get enough money. i’m planning on getting my work permit and get a job, so i can get some money, then buy a PS3.
oh and @ Revenue Robot. you should totally make a comment page about fails, lol. i have some funny fail stories, lol. you don’t have to cuz, it’s your site, but it’s just a suggestion. it would be an awesome new addition

Level 1 7th prestige got it the day it came out. People that dont do prestige are just crazy. Makes you strive for something Prestige is one of the major reasons that people still come back for more COD4 everyone wants to be able to be Level 55 10th prestige with all the golden guns and all the challenges completed

yeah, times are hard pretty much everywhere nowadays. but you’re right. at least you still have a roof over ur head and ur alive and well so we can’t complain much. lol i can get the money meself, but thanks anyway. oh, and i think you should train with friends in a private match on search and destroy. maybe i could help you get better at it. once you get used to it, it’s really fun most of the time, unless you keep getting killed by the same guy who uses a noob toob, or you get sniped right at the beginning.
here are some tips for you. THEY’RE LONG, BUT DEFINITELY WORTH IT IN THE LONG RUN, OKAY?
always use a silencer on both weapons, and never snipe!
i would recommend this class
MP5 silenced
M9 silenced
(they share ammo)
claymores x2 or frags x3
uav jammer or juggernaut
dead silence
stun grenade
i would make two classes of these. one with claymores, the other with frags x3, and one with juggernaut, and the other with uav jammer. always use juggernaut until some enemy calls in a uav, then switch to your uav jammer class real quick.
WHEN YOU SPAWN ON COUNTDOWN, AMBUSH, BACKLOT, OVERGROWN, AND WET WORKS, ALWAYS STAY TOWARDS THE BACK FOR 10 SECONDS OR SO, so the main barrage of grenades is over and you’re alive. once you do that, keep your grenades and try to find a good hiding spot and camp. NOTE: switch hiding spots every round! always put claymore around corners, and always put C4 on the bombs (1 at A and 1 at B). NEVER GO OUT IN THE OPEN UNLESS YOU HAVE TO OR YOU THINK ITS ABSOLUTELY SAFE!
ALWAYS HIDE IN DARK PLACES. always watch for snipers, cuz they’re a pain in the ass i’ll tell you… and i think that’s about all i can tell you right now, lol.
can you comprehend all that, cuz if you can, you will have a blast playing s&d. sorry for it being so long too talza, lol.

i got my 360 in nov of 08 im just about to reach 55 at first i didnt want 2 prestige bc i really dont care about it but now dat i think about it i dont want the 5 star badge so now i am prestiging but just cause i want a good badge lvl 10 cross i dont like it im sticking to lvl 6 hope it doesnt take long im an average player not so good but at least i dont suck it is just for fun anyways.
p.s: cant wait to play the new CoD6:MW2 i dint like #5WW
