Here is a prime example of what i’m talking about…
The video clip is a CBS4 news crew in Fort Lauderdale beach when a gust of wind from Tropical Storm Fay blew along the shoreline and took the kite surfer by surprise. The kite surfer was securely harnessed into his sail when the wind swept him away and slammed him onto the sand. Then, he was dragged along the sand before being lifted up into the air again and blown across the street where the wind slammed him into a building.

Well what the heck was he doing kiteboarding in bad weather?! It’s people like this that make the kitesurfing sport look dangerous. Boaters know to pay attention to the weather and so should kiteboarders.
