According to the New York Times it’s announced that Google is laying off about 300 people at DoubleClick. If i recall correctly they just recently acquired DoubleClick. This would be some depressing news if I worked for DoubleClick. First to find out…
“ahh great i’m going to be working for one of the largest internet companies (if not the largest)”
then only to find out…
“ummm yeah about that… don’t get too comfortable… we’re only letting you stay long enough to let you put Google on your resume.”
But, ehh think on the bright side to all the people who are getting laid off… you got to drink the free sodas..
Well, in my opinion I think DoubleClick is to Google what Jaguar is to Ford… possibly a bad investment..?
Hmmm… what do you think..?
