I was contacted a little while back asking if I would allow my design work / website to be published in a book. At first I thought hmmm.. it might be another one of those scams that is like “wow your photography is good… how about I include it in this book and you buy the book..” well it wasn’t like that.. the book is legit and it’s being sold on Amazon
! Well I pretty much figured ehh why not it will get my name out there as well as a little bit of my design work.
The name of the book is The Web Designer’s Idea Book: The Ultimate Guide To Themes, Trends & Styles In Website Design and my website that was published in the book is www.est1977.com I’m located on page 95 if you end up buying the book… and I don’t see why you wouldn’t it’s only $16.50!!
Here is a brief description of the book from the Amazon website…
The Web Designer’s Idea Book includes more than 700 websites arranged thematically, so you can find inspiration for layout, color, style and more. Author Patrick McNeil has cataloged more than 20,000 sites on his website, and showcased in this book are the very best examples.
Sites are organized by color, design style, type, theme, element and structure. It’s easy to use and reference again and again, whether you’re talking with a co-worker or discussing website design options with a client. As a handy desk reference for design layout, color and style, this book is a must-have for starting new projects.

This has got to be one of my favorite free vector packs that offers vintage and retro style images. Visit vecteezy.com to download your free copy of the above vector pack.

Although Halloween just past we could still use some creative Zombies to rome the internet! If you check out this site there are a few blown up images of what the 3 free vector graphics look like. The image above shows smaller versions of the large ones you’ll find over on the source site… notice I added a lil creativity to the background of the zombies so they stick out a little bit.
