Spottt
I just signed up with the Free Link Exchange service called Spott.com (provided by Adbrite). The site seems to be a lot like Entrecard. However, there are alot more restrictions and they have to “Review” your submitted site. So I guess i’ll give the site a try for at least a month.. it’s what I tend to do to “new venture” that people come up with.

Call of Duty 4
The people over at infinityward.com are having a mapping contest. The contest allows you to build your own map for the Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare video game. The contest ends March 31, 2008 so hurry up and get your map together! You can find all the tools via theses sites: Step 1, Step 2, and Step 3. Once you’ve completed the 3 steps then you are on your way with a chance to winning the contest! Here are a few key things (provided by InfinityWard) to keep in mind:
1Design your maps around your platform of choice (PC, Xbox 360, or PS3); as you never know where it could end up.

2Download and play other players custom maps and take notes. What’s cool? What’s unique? What’s fun about them?

3Beta test your custom maps. Post it on the forums, get friends to download it and play it on their PC and give feedback.

4You’ll need the PC version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare installed to use the tools. So make sure you meet the minimum specs.

5Most importantly, if you have any problems whatsoever or have questions, jump on the forums or visit the IWiki for help.
